More food, then rain

Good morning!
Legs super sore from today being at the gym.
Didn't realize that not only is there an Exito nearby to my gym, but there is a convenience store under my apt building! And here I am without water or snacks.
Note: Exito is like Medellin's Walmart - they have everything.
I had the vet come and do the health certificate and now out for a late lunch.
Saludpan
Pollo del dia 27.500 4/5

So I'm not a health nut but I don't eat fast food generally. I'm allergic to fruit and not at all a fan of Chinese food. But I came here for a change from the norm. The whole menu at Saludpan got a snub from me for those reasons except the chicken and brunch items. I figured I wasted my time and money coming here but when I ate the bok choy (the chicken), it's the best non-brunch plate I've had In Laureles so far!
Finished class- the French lady is leaving (I can hardly understand her when she speaks either language). Now I've decided to go to my favorite Restaurant: Ammazza.
Ammazza
Risotto Salmon& Lobster 3/5
Anoche asombrosa 4/5
Eclair cake 4/5
So they fell short today.
I was not super happy with my undercooked salmon and subpar flavor of the risotto but I know they can be better. Ammazza is the most expensive restaurant I visit in Medellin- the only. So back to low cost meals.
As soon as it was time to head home, it started down pouring. I mean, it was pretty torrential. Couldn't get an uber or taxi so once the lightning strikes, I started running home to my Serenity so she wasn't alone during the storm.
Six blocks with a broken umbrella- I didn't end up too bad off but got into a few puddles during the rush.
There is a reason why this valley stays humid- it's all this rain. And it's been rainy all week. Doesn't bother me since I'm chillin and not doing major tourist things, but I do hope the weekend clears for the majority of visitors.
