El Poblado, Pet Travel thru Airport

Updated: 3 days ago

Shopping day in Poblado!

But not before my last workout at the gym.

When I arrived back in Poblado, it was just 'familiar'. And comfortable. I knew my way. I know the safety. And the food is exceptional.

Shopped a few stores- 1/2 were closed due to the holiday.

Brunch at Repeat (my absolute favorite in Medellin)

French Toast 5/5

Brio 5/5

Lunch at La Matriarca

Ajaico

Frappe de café

I couldn't leave without an ajaico!!!

And then back to the apt for some final packing and studying.

It's been real Colombia- my excursion to clear my mind, reset and continue to fight away this 2 year depression.

Until 2024....

How to pass thru ICA for Pet Travel (Colombia --> USA)

  • Go to cargo and follow signs to office 11 for ICA. At the main entrance, you will need to show your ID.

  • You can walk to cargo from the airport but ask the taxi to wait for you since it can be a little exhausting.

  • When at ICA, show the veterinarian's documents and give the SISPAP number ⇒ you will NEED THIS!

  • Pay somewhere between 50-60,000 COP by card or cash

  • They stamp everything and you are on on your way

  • Your animal must be with you BUT does not actually get inspected

  • It takes About 15-30 mins total for completion of the inspection

Le Cumbria House (airport)

Arepa e'huevo 4/5

Blueberry candelaria 4/5

Pie de limon
