Who is Dria Anyways?

Most everyone wants to travel to some distant far-off land. So many people talk about it and even go as putting down an expected time frame. But how many people turn around and when the button is ready to be clicked to buy the ticket, you find no one else is ready?

Back in 2018, I was tired of waiting on everyone else. I packed my bags and took my first solo trip. Since then, I have acquired a total of 30 countries, some multiple times, including two of my favorites: Cuba and Colombia!

I guess you would want to know what I do for a living- how do I get to travel so often. Well, I am in one of the 'most cherished' fields - I'm a veterinarian. Unfortunately, it's not so luxurious and we are burning out quickly. So traveling is how I reset.

I usually do multiple countries at a time with those stopover options and I book when the ticket is cheapest, not when it's tourist season. One carry-on suitcase and I'm off!

I don't spend a whole bunch when I travel, but I also do not stay in hostels or get a hotel/apartment away from the main parts of the city.

Sometimes, my 13 year old cat, Serenity Precious, gets to tag along :)
